Video Journalist / Full Time
Job Description:
- Opportunity to work on different ranges of projects ranging from social
media videos, product features and reviews, Tik Tok and You Tube
voice-over recording for Singapore’s leading beauty & Lifestyle Media - Conceptualisation and execution of video ideas including coming up
with the storyboard / script as required for videos with the marketing
team - Be involved in the setting up and assist in the execution of the filming including visiting different locations and in-house shoots.
- Assisting with video edits (preparing timelines and sorting out sequences)
- Research on beauty and lifestyle content that is trending and best- viewed for Beauty Insiders & Glitz’s audience.
- Chart plans and strategies to grow our engagement and followers for our video assets audiences and channels.
- Ensure all video content produced is legal and does not violate social media policy such as sensitive content / Unlicensed music / Copyrighted items.
- Prepare and plan a monthly content calendar which should be send
prior to each month’s video shooting for approval.
Required:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience creating, editing, and publishing online
videos. - Possess or currently pursuing a Diploma in Film and Media studies or
equivalent. - Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator etc).
- Knowledge of video production workflows.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and social media best practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Photo and video editing experience.
- Independent, highly self-motivated, good at multitasking, have a strong drive for self-improvement, willingness to learn new things, and have an open mind to accept critique.
